As you guys know, I love the brand Mirae, so when the team reached out to me to style their iconic heart-printed Victoria dress, I was so excited to participate.
I love this dress. I was even eyeing it on the site before the team contacted me! Let’s be honest – when a dress is named Victoria, you know it’s gonna be good. The Victoria dress by Mirae doesn’t disappoint – it’s a beautiful black midi-length dress with red hearts patterned throughout. I took it in size 34, but it’s a wrap dress so you can adjust it to fit your body. Go with your normal size.
The sleeves are slightly puffed out and come down ¾ length, to just below the elbow, where they are gathered at the ends. The dress is quite low-cut in the chest, and I left it like that for this shoot, but there is a small button you can attach to make it less revealing if you want to wear it to an office party or something. It is a fairly long dress, hitting somewhere between the ankles and the knees, so I recommend wearing it with either high or low heels, so your legs don’t look too short.
I met up with my friend Ghalia Alami, a very talented film photographer, to shoot these photos at the Le Pigalle Hotel in Paris. Le Pigalle is a hip and trendy neighborhood in the 9th arrondissement of the city, which was formerly a red light district. The hotel has a mid-century, sexy vibe to it so I knew it would be perfect for this Valentine’s Day shoot!
