I had seen the Miista Noa shoes on Instagram for quite a while before I decided to purchase them. These gorgeous woven raffia shoes seemed to grace the feet of just about every Instagram star. I love the knitted look of handbags and this spring/summer shoe style definitely appealed to me as well!
The Noa shoes are made of beautiful natural-colored raffia. They are hand-woven in Spain using traditional techniques, but the Miista design team is based in London. They have a leather sole and a very walkable low 4.5cm block heel. The tip is slightly squared, for a modern look.
As I mentioned in my Miista Taissa review, you have to size down in Miistas if you want them to fit. I normally take a 37 (7 US), but in these shoes, I went with 36 at the advice of the shop assistant. Miista sizing can be tricky, so try them on if you can or order two sizes to compare.
While the Taissa’s did stretch after wearing them around the house with socks on, the Noas show no signs of letting up! They are still super tight when I wear them and I have to put band-aids on ahead of time otherwise my feet will get blisters. I’m hoping that as time goes on, they will loosen up even more.
While I love them as a new addition to my French girl shoe collection, I definitely won’t be taking long strenuous walks around Paris in them! 😉

Hi Victoria,
I’m wondering if your now shoes ended up stretching, and if sizing down one whole size was the right choice?
Thank you!
Hi, they did not stretch and they are still too tight. I shouldn’t have sized down!
